Nothing in lifting equipment design is accidental. Every product in this industry has several important functions to perform, whether on the production floor, in a warehouse or in a hall. Undoubtedly, the most important of these is ensuring security and safety employees when carrying, lifting or lowering cargo!

Scissor lift tables Reversible – a patent for success

It is with such a purpose that the model of tilting lift table was patented. Thanks to its ability, the platform provides efficient and ergonomic use of the workplace. 

By means of a control tape operator adjusts optimal angle of inclination and height of the box. 

Shoulders of the lift table located under the platform (see Fig. 4) allow simultaneous lifting and tilting of cargo. Thanks to the small height, 6 mm in the folded state, they are a great alternative to the scissor lift table, whose design/minimum height will not allow such low pallet or box placement.  

In the standard presented scissor platforms lift load with lifting capacity up to 1 500 kg. . . The special workmanship allows you to obtain up to 2,500 kg load capacity. It is possible to position the lift table inclination in the range from +5o to -40o or from 0 to -35o, depending on the chosen model.

Different types of platforms are available: 

• ALT U, EU and GB U-shaped models have 6 mm at their lowest point, so they lift pallets, containers and carts directly from the floor – we can load them even with basic hand pallet trucks; 
• the ART and ALT models with flat but higher platforms require loading with lift trolleys;  
• The HKT model has a special bottom frame, allows for entry under it with a forklift.

Application in Automotive

The most common tilting cranes can be found in the production hall, where all kinds of components, products, semi-finished products and final goods are stacked on pallets, containers or baskets of the Gitterbox type.

Companies of the automotive industry in Poland are very often involved in manufacturing small components such as clutch pumps, turbine castings, gear wheels, details with duraluminium, and many others. 

The production chain often slows down at the final stage and this is where they are sought logistics solutions, which optimizes the whole packaging and transport of components for further processing or dispatch.  

The pressure on mechanization and ergonomics of work created the need for devices that will maximize the efficiency of work. 

Frequent box handling, large containers and baskets contributed to the popularity of tilting lift tables. 

In addition, tilting lift tables are used as equipment for cutting machines. . . They work perfectly in the role of food and support stations. In this case, two tilting jacks are best used. Raw materials prepared for treatment are taken from the first and finished products put aside.  

Also do not overlook the important matter that is the operator’s operating comfort. The position with the use of a tilting platform significantly relieves the operator’s load, preventing spinal injuries caused by excessive incline and improper torso twists.

And an example

ALT cranes work at the end of production lines. Thanks to the use of tilting platforms, the operator raises and tilts boxes with one button, in which the finished elements coming off the line are arranged (in this case they are mainly support pumps).

ALT used to position crates and containers. The lift table is loaded with a pallet trolley. 

III example

It’s an improved warehouse job. Thanks to the tilting function of the platform, the need for lifting heavy components in the packaging process has been eliminated. Due to the minimum height of the lift table in complex condition, the operator enters the platform with a pallet truck. This solution greatly facilitates the work of the warehouse and allows for faster and safer performance of their duties.

Thanks to the tilting of the platform, it is possible to quickly remove and insert cartons into larger containers.

In addition, the ALT-enhanced cranes appeared in a place where it was necessary to quickly put cartons with car parts onto the pallet. With increasing the number of cartons on the pallet, the platform tilts and lowers, providing a constant safe position for the operator’s spine. . 

Solve every problem

As a company with the widest range of lift tables, we also offer a slightly different but very similar solution. If there is no need to lift the basket or pallets we can also use Reversal platform.   

If we need to use a larger surface of the platform and, for example, equip the lift table with a roller conveyor, then at the customer’s request we adjust the hydraulic scissor crane with an additional tilting platform function.
