How to select wheels for hand pallet trucks
In the internal transport by hand pallet truck, it is very important to select the wheels in the trolley, depending on where it works. Their choice will ensure the user’s comfort of work as well as protect the floor from damage.
We have 3 types of wheels to choose from:
Polyurethane (PTP)
- very durable
- non-marking
- resistant to water, lubricants, petrol
- suitable for work on equal but also uneven surfaces
- universal under all conditions
- Polyurethane cap, red
Rubber (GTP)
- quiet while driving
- suppression of impacts and shocks
- recommended for delicate floors
- suitable for operation on uneven ground (without sharp edges)
- with higher loads may produce greater rolling resistance
- rubber, black
Nylon (NTN)
- hard
- recommended for smooth and flat floors
- ideal for working in industry, e.g. food, chemical
- low rolling resistance
- light
