Electrical chain hoist in ATEX PS-GPEX D, PS-GPEX G

Atex electric chain hoist is intended for use in potentially explosive zones. The explosion-proofing of the hoist ensures safety of operation in an area where for example dusts or flammable gases occur. The explosion protection can also be achieved by eliminating potential ignition sources, properly designed components of the hoist or monitoring operating temperature.

General characteristics of the hoists in explosion-proof ATEX:

• 42 V control voltage (safe)
• power supply voltage 3 × 400V, 50Hz (other on request)
• one or two lifting speeds
• IP 65 protection class
• isolation class F (engine)
• in option: ATEX control box, ATEX electric trolley available for zones 22 (D) and 2 (G), IP 65 brake

PS-GPEX D – Dust resistant version: II 3D Ex tc IIIA T130 °C Db:

• equipment group II, device category 3
• Zone 22 (D)
• temperature = < 130°C,
• with a temperature monitoring system
• Ex cable connections

PS-GPEX G – Gasproof version: II 3D Ex tc IIIA T130 °C Db or II 3G Ex pz IIA T3 Gb:

• equipment group II, device category 3
• Zone 2 (G), 22 (D)
• temperature class = T3 (= < 200°C)
• with a temperature and pressure monitoring system; in the absence of a pressure supply, the power supply is immediately cut off
• Ex cable connections
• the required compressed air connection (convex ø 6 mm)
