The food sector and the crane equipment industry
It is no secret to anyone that where food, and in particular its processing, there are increased restrictions and sharpening. Every day, food producers face the challenge of maintaining a healthy sanitary state throughout the plant. Conducting procedures based on HACCP, inspections, providing appropriate training and research to their employees, guarding clean and dirty zones – these are only some of the activities undertaken.
The food industry places great emphasis on health and safety at work. This is why, whether it is in the dairy, meat, confectionery or fish sectors, for example, we need arrangements to facilitate the transport and increase of raw materials, semi-finished products and finished products produced in a given undertaking. . . It’s supposed to be safe and ergonomic.
“Food” carries a lot of weight
The food industry is constantly using the equipment proposed by our company.
First of all, these are pallet trucks for the transport of palletised goods and Scissor lift tables used as an element of the production line or as an aid to the operator’s position.

Very often these are also lifts working on BigBag bags and Chain hoists Corrosion resistant with stainless steel chain for lifting and lowering loads such as fryers baskets or meat products evaporators. Such solutions are usually suspended on galvanised cranes or road tracks – the galvanized version is an excellent alternative to aluminum systems.

In warehouses and production halls we will also find drum stackers a liquid transfer capability, vacuum lifts for the capture of food products such as blocks of cheese and butter, meat or frozen meat, and lifting bogies equipped with additional components to carry boxes and bottles.

Adapting to existing needs
In order to meet all requirements, not only those concerning food processing, the plant needs adequate equipment for the production hall. Devices are a very common solution for the food sector made of stainless steel.
Someone might ask why. INOX?
The answer is simple! Steel ta It is preferred because of its resistance. Frequent contact with water, widespread cleaning and use of strong bactericidal agents requires the use of stainless steel.

More and more often, due to increasing sharpens, in places where there is a high risk of spark ignition, devices are also used in the production ATEX – Hand and electric chain hoists, pole cranes, broken-arm cranes, gate winches, scissor lift tables – equipment working in Ex zones will certainly be used in food production. This is a good example of the company in which flour or corn are found.
Packed and ready food may not require such precautions, but here too we will find great potential for the use of crane equipment. We can apply, for example, light crane systems with vacuum lifts for lifting bags with loose product, loading vans bogies with heavy lifting capacitywhether to store baskets and containers using cranes – both empty and filled with cargo.

The solution for the food segment is that each manufacturer will find a suitable device tailored to their needs. We’re happy to help you pick out the right equipment. Don’t wait up.
