Wire rope slings
Wire rope slings are auxiliary lifting accessories that assist operators using lifting equipment such as jib cranes and overhead cranes.
They are particularly important in heavy industry, metallurgy, shipyards, metallurgical plants, construction and welding industries. They find application with production plants and transport companies.
The suspensions offered are responsible for the multipoint maintenance and transport of loads.
Wire rope slings suspended from the overhead cranes and jib cranes we manufacture are available with capacities of up to 10 tonnes. Sling length is measured between the upper and lower attachment points and is tailored to each customer. The rope diameter determines the capacity: a larger cross-section allows heavier loads to be lifted and transported.
Breakdown
The rope suspensions can be completed by a loop, link, jackel, caus, hook. Chained, swamped, clamped and braided strings are available.
The basic rope slings shall be divided into:
- single-string rope slings
- double-string rope slings
- three-string rope slings
- four-string rope slings
We can also distinguish between suspensions of type Flemish eye (2xloop) and models with a closed circuit. . . In the second case, suspensions are stacked from one section of the rope without connections. They are very flexible.
For sectors with severe restrictions are also proposed stainless steel suspension.
