When should I report the device to the Technical Supervision Office?
Cranes with a load capacity of 250 kg are subject to full supervision. This means that in order to be able to use the device, the lift must pass a positive registration in UDT.

Do you need permission to operate cranes?
First of all, the crane operator must meet the basic requirements imposed by the employer.
For cranes above 250 kg, the worker must be trained in handling cranes. The type of permission depends on the type of device the employee will operate.
The training takes place in the UDT (Technical Supervision Authority). Only a positive result allows you to work with this device.
In the case of mounting and maintenance of cranes, additional special permissions are needed. Therefore, in such cases, entrepreneurs often use the services of outside companies such as PS Lift.
Is the crane operator safe?
While maintaining safety and compliance with all the procedures in force at the site, the handling of lifting equipment is completely safe. The risk arises only if the employer fails to carry out technical inspections, maintenance or when these devices are badly and over-exploited.
