Why the vacuum?

How do vacuum devices work?
Vacuum technology uses vacuum in cargo capture and deposition processes.
In case of MANUT-LM vacuum lifters The pump generates a vacuum that allows the material to hold down by sucking on it, and further lifts it by shrinking the suction pipe. When leaving the plate, the vacuum is weakened and the material can be safely placed in the target place.
Vacuum suspension sucks the load with a vacuum, except that further manipulation is already carried out by means of a chain hoist on which the suspension is suspended. Simplifyingly, here we just “stick” to the goods.
Sheets of sheet metal and plates are the most frequently raised vacuum elements. Transporting these products without the help of equipment can cause problems, and in some cases it is simply impossible. However, these materials require different lifting solutions.
Matching the device – suspension or lift?
In the transport of sheet metal, VLA vacuum suspensions suspended on an electric chain hoist will be better suited.
Due to the surface of the sheet metal and its elasticity, precise and slow cargo transport is needed. The MANUT-LM lift is not able to provide such delicate manipulation, and this is because it works much faster and by shrinking the suction pipe, whose work is not as accurate as the hoist. movement.
Faster work with very heavy loads could be dangerous for the operator.
To ensure constant and continuous movement, the chain hoist on which the suspension is suspended shall be equipped with a inverter enabling smooth and light start of heavy steel coils.

In addition, the design of the crane on which the suspension is mounted enables the use of an electric trolley for a chain hoist. Thanks to this, the operator can very precisely move sheet sheets both vertically and horizontally.
When we want to handle a larger area of the hall or several workstations with a vacuum suspension, we can mount them on a light steel or aluminum crane.
The optimal solution for the transport of furniture boards is vacuum lifts of the type Master.
The Master vacuum lifts are as standard up to 180kg. That’s all it takes to move the furniture plate. For individual needs, this capacity can be increased to 250kg.
When handling discs, quick work is needed, which will not require as much precision as in the case of sheets, and which will facilitate the execution of often tedious cycles and provide comfort to the operator.
An important advantage and frequent application is also the possibility of tilting the board. For example, this allows you to pick up the plate horizontally on the stack or at the belt saw and place it safely vertically.
