The scaffolding, or the mobile tower, is a design that probably does not need to be presented to anyone. It is most commonly used in construction, repair and maintenance works. It can also be useful for the construction and setting of scenes and platforms or during the assembly and dismantling of exhibition stands.

When it comes to working at heights, the reliability of a given configuration of the mobile tower and guaranteeing the safety of persons using it are crucial.

In the case of scaffolding, two standards are distinguished. It depends on whether the user intends to mount the structure permanently against the wall or not:

– when choosing a model without anchoring, we deal with class 3 according to EN1004 (here the maximum height outside is 8m and inside it is 12 meters),

– if there is a need to anchor the scaffolding to the wall/wall, here the Class 3 tower complies with D.L. standard. 81/08.

The option is to equip the mobile tower with stairway, which allows the worker to descend from the scaffolding front. The most important is to use scaffolding according to the manufacturer’s documentation, as well as to mount, operate and disassemble the mobile tower according to the original operating instructions also provided by the manufacturer. Prior to the start of work at height, the construction manager or the authorised person must make the pickup.
