These GP1600 and GP2500 models appeared on the market in June this year. In the case of GP1600 from now on, the operator will be able to lift a load with a load capacity of 2.5 tons on one chain. The GP2500 model gives the ability to raise 3.2 tons on one chain and up to 6.3 tonnes on a double chain, respectively.

The devices are used in companies around the world, ranging from companies and companies operating in the automotive, chemical, furniture, pharmaceutical, plastics industries to entertainment industries. GIS hoists, including new models presented, will work particularly well in transport and logistics, in air transport, in steel, metal, woodworking industries.

The GIS hoist is primarily a guarantee of thoughtful and innovative solutions in construction.

Infallibility

The electric chain hoists of GIS can operate at temperatures up to -30 to +50 degrees C. The housing and cover were made of aluminium. Both the hoist and the control panel are made in the degree of protection IP 65 already as standard. This means that at no extra cost, the GP hoist is both dust-tight and water-tight. The device has a safety factor 8 (FEM 2m, ISO M5). Importantly, the solid construction and compact design allows for the work of the hoist also outdoors.

OPERATING CHARACTERISTICS

The GP hoist has a simple design and does not contain any sensitive electronics, and this significantly minimizes the risk of failure. It is characterized by a very calm and quiet work thanks. It was designed in such a way that it could ensure long life under difficult conditions. Maintenance is simple, fast and takes place without specialized tools.

VARIATION

As a distributor of the Swiss company GIS we offer 3 years warranty on the purchased chain hoist. Each of the proposed hoists is tailored to the individual needs of the client. The device is available in both three-phase and one-phase versions, and can be suspended on the hook or on the eye. In individual designs, the hoist can be equipped with a wide range of accessories and options: inverter, radio control, ATEX execution, corrosion-resistant version, special speeds, any control voltages, cycle counter and much more.

TECHNOLOGY

The real innovation is hidden in the interior of a modularly built hoist. All sandshaft connections are constructed in a polygonal version. This solution allows for quick installation and dismantling of the device, especially during maintenance, repair or during inspections. As a result, the operations take up less time, and this in turn significantly reduces the cost of servicing hoists.

BIRTHDAY

Hardened diffusion and manganese-phosphinated steel chain provides an increased by approx. 25% load capacity at the same rated diameter compared to a chain with round profile. Thanks to the larger section area, wear is reduced and chain life is increased. The hoist can be equipped with any length of the chain. The support hook with stable protection ensures maximum safety.

CONTROL PENDANT

Thanks to its ergonomic design, the control tape adapts to the hand of the operator. It is robust, shock resistant and controlled by a 42 V safe low voltage. For individual projects there may also be 24 V. Parallelly arranged buttons increase user convenience. The control cable is secured by a control line – this solution prevents the cable from breaking.

UDT

Three-phase hoists up to 250 kg and one-phase hoists up to 1000 kg do not require notification to UDT.

If the load capacity of the hoist exceeds the above three-phase values exceeding 250 kg, or if it is 1000 kg in the case of a single-phase device, our specialists may offer assistance in receiving the device by UDT.

The service department prepares all the necessary documents, completes the application and also on behalf of the customer reports the device to the Office. Additionally, a maintenance servicer with UDT privileges also appears on site on the day of reception.

REVIEWS

It is important to keep in mind regular reviews of electric chain hoists, which should take place every 90 days.

During the reviews, the most common activities are:

– cleaning of the device,

– checking of electrical installations,

– checking the speed of work movements.

The control shall also be subject to:

– mechanical condition of the device,

– hydraulic system,

– The road system.

PARTS EXCHANGE
